Moët & Chandon, l’art d’offrir

One of my highlights of the 2024 holiday season was collaborating Moët & Chandon for their pop-up gifting experience. I spent four weekends at the SAQ Candiac, personalizing bottles of champagne for clients. I calligraphed holiday and New Year’s wishes, as well as names, birthday messages and love notes.

A common question asked was “Is this engraving?” and the answer is actually no. Engraving can compromise the glass of pressurized bottles and is never recommended for products like champagne or sparkling wine, due to the risk of explosion. Instead, I calligraphed directly onto the bottle, using a permanent metallic pen. It’s a shiny and safe way to turn a bottle of champagne into a beautiful keepsake with a custom message.
